Every day the number of robots keeps growing thus making them an integral part of our life. So far, there is at least 20 types of robots worldwide: starting from industrial robots and mega-factories up to molecular-size nanorobots.

Henn na Hotel in Nagasaki, Japan, opened just a year ago with 90% of its employees being robots. Smart machines welcome guests at reception, deliver luggage in rooms, make coffee, provide cleaning and laundry services.

Today using robots in dangerous police operations and for neutralizing criminals is a common practice. Governments of certain countries consider replacing human nurses in maternity homes with medical robots.

Employees of Innopolis University have surveyed 300 participants of the  Russian Robot Olympiad who came to Innopolis from 51 regions of the Russian Federation. The purpose of the survey is to learn what children think about robots and how they see the future of human-robot interaction.
