The entrance hall of the academic and research building of the IT University is now decorated with 22 nameplates of well-known individuals and companies.
The wall of partners was officially inaugurated in the presence of Nikolay Nikiforov, Minister of Telecom and Mass Communication of the Russian Federation, Roman Shaykhutdinov, Minister of Information and Communication of the Republic of Tatarstan, Egor Ivanov Mayor of Innopolis city, Alexander Tormasov, Rector of Innopolis University and other honoured guests.
22 companies operating in the sphere of high technologies have their nameplates presented on the wall of partners in the University's hall: ICL-KME CS, VTB Bank, INFOMATIKA, Corporate Information Resources, MegaFon, MTS, MAYKOR, RUSENERGORESURS, AK BARS Bank, Advanced Research Foundation, AT Consulting, Acronis, Parallels, and other. All the companies provide financial support to the young IT University.
"Support provided by our partners can be compared to building of a firm foundation and a secure wall for Innopolis University. The history of rapid development of our University proves that it is a simple truth. As for the facts, during the last three years our University has received over 1 billion rubles as partner contributions and private donations. It means that education, science and industry have built a strong and trusting relationship," said Alexander Tormasov, Rector of Innopolis University, during the official ceremony.
Innopolis University is a private IT University established without budget funds by means of donations and sponsor contributions. The University is operating for the benefit of the IT industry providing the market with personnel and research developments.
