Employees of RusHydro, Beeline and Megafon learned how to manage changes in the company, introduce Artificial Intelligence into business processes and develop more effective software.

As part of IT Business module faculty members and employees of Innopolis University delivered 4 courses for representatives of the Russian companies. 

Technical experts of Beeline took a course on Implementation of DevOps-processes in the Company, which is focused on a new methodology of software engineering. DevOps is based on communication and collaboration between engineering, testing, and exploitation. The methodology helps to accelerate production of software products and services. 

The course participants discussed how DevOps processes can be applied in real life according to experience of the company employees. The purpose of the course was to increase reliability and security, accelerate software engineering and deployment cycles, facilitate the quality testing and add new functionality. 

Employees of Megafon took training on two topics: “Modern Digital Technologies and Tools of Change Management in the Company" and “Is Agile Always Applicable?”.

The purpose of the first course was to outline the opportunities of introduction of artificial intelligence: automation of routine operations; time saving due to fast processing of a large amount of data; cost saving. Participants studied the tools of predictive analytics that help to foresee the probability of the client's attrition, the optimal price and the product demand. 

In the second part of the course, the mentors of the program told about modern approaches in project management, discussed their application on real tasks and explained how Agile methodology can be applied.

In addition, it is very convenient that the coaching program is based on a turnkey basis - our employees receive unique content, international expertise and comfortable conditions for learning." RusHydro held an educational seminar "Digital Energy and Modern Technologies" at Innopolis University for the top-management of the company. The introduction of information technologies into the hydropower industry is necessary to automate the process of collecting, processing and displaying information; efficiency and accuracy of frequency and power regulation in energy systems; minimizing the impact of the human factor.

Johan Vanderplaetse, President of Schneider Electric in Russia and CIS countries told RusHydro experts about digital solutions for energy efficient industrial enterprises and the Russian market of smart grid technologies in electrical energy industry. Representatives of the IT University Sergey Petrenko, Alberto Sillitti, Rustam Davletbaev and Angelo Messina told about cybersecurity of industrial infrastructure, automation of management processes within the company, smart-contracts and blockchain management projects for critical objects.
