The event took place on August 25-27 at Korston Business Center and at the conference venue at Innopolis University

The forum devoted to perspectives of system informatics gathered under its aegis researchers, software developers and users working both in science and in industry. A number of major scientists, including David Parnas, one of pioneers of modern software engineering and Bertrand Meyer, the creator and designer of Eiffel language attended the conference.

The PSI 2015 Program included invited papers, works and reports, selected during the peer review, reflecting novel results of research studies related to the conference subject. The event consisted of 12 sessions with 30-minute reports made by the speakers.

Being the main International Conference on Informatics hosted in Russia, PSI 2015 is truly a unique event.

The conference history goes back to 1991 and encompasses major Russian cities (Novosibirsk, Saint Petersburg). This year the conference took place in Kazan and Innopolis.

The aim of PSI 2015 is to present and enable a deep discussion of the frontier research achievements in the fields including basic theory analysis, program and system development, methodology, programming technology and new information technologies. One of major tasks of the conference is to “bridge the gaps” between the research and professional IT communities.
