The project foresees making a detailed plan to enable student professional development and career building.

As a rule, university graduates are challenged with the employment issue. Modern IT-companies set serious competency requirements for their new hires. Not all graduates are ready to blend in the workflow right away.

Centre for Career Development, opened by Innopolis University in cooperation with the project "Antirabstvo" (Eng. "Antislavery") by Alena Vladimirskaya, will help students to get ready for working in the IT industry. The main objective of the Centre is to create a system of targeted career building for future graduates: starting form professional guidance and supervision of IT personnel in the labour market, up to improvement of soft-skills and preparation for interviews with potential employers.

The project will include lectures and workshops, courses and trainings aimed at development of competencies, as well as organization of internships and employment guidance. What is more, Innopolis University runs assessment of applicants, students and graduates and analyzes the dynamics of professional advancement. Upon completion, each student receives an individual career map that will help him/her to understand professional goals.
