Stanislav Protasov and Denis Stolyarov took part in the Regional Internet Forum (RIF).
RIF “Voronezh”-2015 started on Friday, September 11. The event takes place for the sixth time. This year the forum gathered more than 80 speakers, i.e. representatives from the leading Russian Internet companies, journalists and experts. The forum traditionally included free-of-charge conferences, workshops and round tables devoted to the recent tendencies in the Internet industry.
Stanislav Protasov, Research Assistant from Innopolis University made a report on “Internal development: building the infrastructure of your application”.
“I had a double task. On the one hand, considering the specific character of the conference, I had to share my experience in feedback arrangement for applications with multiple clients. The question was how to collect faults and analyze behavior of application users under resource, legal and other limitations. On the other hand, it was necessary to show that this valuable experience was gained in a large company by trial and error. However, there is a shorter and more efficient way - education. One-year Master’s program in Software Engineering offered by Innopolis University provides knowledge about the processes, methods and architectures that can be gained alternatively during years of practice”, - said Stanislav Protasov.
In the framework of RIF “Voronezh”-2015, the independent award for achievements in the sphere of Internet and high technologies was presented for the second year in a row. This award serves as a proof of success and acknowledgement of a company, public organization or an individual among co-workers, clients and market experts in the regional Internet community. A research project of Innopolis University joined the short-list of the award nominees.
“The info-project that we have developed together with the command during my military service in the science troop of the Russian Air Force, consists in establishment of special communication channels with the target audience, i.e. talented technical university graduates, in order to provide current information about the military service in scientific subdivisions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and create a positive image of the military service in general. It’s a great pleasure to learn that the project has been highly appreciated by the experts. In my opinion, events like RIF “Voronezh” are a perfect platform for presentation of results achieved by regional IT communities”, - shared Denis Stolyarov, the project author, Head of Enrollment and Admission Office of Innopolis University.
