Final Conference of the Open Competition for the Lobachevsky Prize for Research Papers will be held at Innopolis University

The IT university will hold the on-site sessions in the section of Higher Mathematics, Cybernetics, Computer Science and Information Technology.

Every year over 800 students and graduates from universities of the Republic of Tatarstan compete for the Lobachevsky Prize. The primary goal of the competition is to promote science among students and support talented young people of the local area.

The competition is open for the full-time students of Russian higher education institutions under the age of 35 years. Prospective candidates shall submit to the Organizational Committee their finished research papers in one of 27 areas: Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Economics Information Technology, etc. The best papers will be admitted to the final conferences to be approved individually. The final session of the section of Higher Mathematics, Cybernetics, Computer Science and Information Technology will be held on February 19, at 2:00 p.m., room 321, Innopolis University.

The best 10 research papers of the mentioned section will be evaluated by the Expert Committee that includes Zurab Otarashvili, Director for Innovation at Innopolis University, Rustem Gafarov, Technical Project Manager at “Cinarra Systems” and Yuriy Sergeev, successful IT project manager who earned his first million at school. Based on the conference results, it will be published a collected volume of the best papers presented in each section. Their authors will receive memorable awards and money prizes.

They develop a passion for new and amazing discoveries, the ability to stand for what is right and teach how to take a punch in case of failure», - said Zurab Otarashvili, member of the Expert Committee of the conference at Innopolis University.
