A new campus of Innopolis University has been officially opened.
On June 9th, 2015 Innopolis celebrates its third birthday. The official opening ceremony of the city and university mark this summer day.
Innopolis University hosts the Russian stage of the World Robot Olympiad June 8-10, and Innopolis city welcomes the Russian Internet Forum that is being held June 9-10.
High-ranking officials as Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, Minister of Telecom and Mass Communication of the Russian Federation Nikolay Nikiforov, acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov etc., are among the participants of the official opening ceremony of Innopolis city and Innopolis University.
The university is pleased and proud to receive many letters of congratulation from its international partners and friends. Among them: Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (Republic of Korea), National University of Singapore (Singapore), University of Amsterdam (the Netherlands), EURECOM (France), Lappeenranta University of Technology (Finland), Antonio Nariño University (Colombia) and others. They wished Innopolis University every success, expressed their sympathy to the Innopolis project and desire to continue fruitful cooperation.
Representatives of foreign embassies in Russia also sent their compliments on the occasion of the official opening of Innopolis University. Counsellor for Science and Technology of the Embassy of India in Moscow Rama Swami Bansal mentioned that opening of Innopolis is «one of the most significant scientific milestones» of Russia.
