Innopolis University and the Agency for Innovation and Development of the Voronezh Region signed a cooperation agreement

The document was signed in the framework of the Open Innovations Forum.

Boris Trigub, Deputy Director of the Agency for Innovation and Development of the Voronezh Region and Alexander Tormasov, Rector of Innopolis University, signed a cooperation agreement at the stand of the IT University. The purpose of the agreement is to develop a single information and academic environment and foster partnership in the field of science, education and innovation.

The scope of agreement includes cooperation in the following priority areas: joint development and promotion of innovation projects, introduction of research and production results into small and medium-size innovation enterprises of the Voronezh Region, and residents of student business incubator of Innopolis University, creation and development of the innovators’ competencies in project management and commercialization of innovation products and extension of a single information space based on the Internet platforms of both parties.

Besides, the form of cooperation determines the interaction between the parties in the field of research, information and consulting which implies joint conferences, workshops, trainings and active collaboration during all stages of innovation projects and the innovation products promotion.

“The Agency for Innovation and Development of the Voronezh Region has been implementing different programs to support bright students, IT experts and engineers. This agreement will allow Innopolis University, acting in partnership with the Agency, to establish new cooperation forms of searching and supporting of innovation projects and talented people who are eager to get a high-quality world-class IT education. Development of the new IT generation’s in-demand professional competencies will make a great contribution to the evolution of the high-technology field in all regions of Russia resulting into the national competitive growth”, - noticed Alexander Tormasov, Rector of the University.
