Innopolis University Builds Connections with Brazilian Universities

In November, 2014, Sofia Chernogortseva, IU’s Director for Business Development, took part in the program “Collaboration across the Ocean: discovering the innovative Brazil”, which was organized by Russia’s Venture Company.

During her stay in Brazil, S. Chernogortseva visited the University of Sao Paolo, Foundation for Research Support of the State of Sao Paolo, Business School “Casa Cabral”, Federal University of Minas Gerais, and the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. During the visit, the participants got acquainted with the methods of interaction of Brazilian universities with industry, work of research laboratories and multilateral collaboration “university-state-business”. In the near future, Innopolis University plans to implement the agreements, reached during the visit to Brazil.
