The city of high technologies has welcomed 31 schoolchildren to start their new academic year. Up to the end of the academic year, the number of schoolchildren is to expand twice
The event was featured by Roman Shaykhutdinov, Deputy Prime-Minister, Minister of Information and Communication of the Republic of Tatarstan, Engel Fattakhov, Deputy Prime-Minister, Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, Egor Ivanov, Mayer of Innopolis city, and Dmitry Kondratyev, Director of Innopolis University. Traditionally, the first school bell marked the beginning of the academic year.
“Families and children emerging in the city is the power that actually lightens it up and inspires the city with new life. It means that development of infrastructure for children is no less important than job creation. For this reason, the school opening is one of major milestones in the history of Innopolis”, - said Egor Ivanov, Mayer of Innopolis city.
“We´ve selected 17 highly qualified experts, considering that the competition for vacant teaching positions was up to 7 candidates per a position. Studying at the University school will be as much challenging as interesting”, - said Dmitry Kondratyev, Director of Innopolis University.
Upon completion of the official part of the event, Roman Shaykhutdinov, Deputy Prime-Minister, Minister of Information and Communication of the Republic of Tatarstan, granted 500 thousand for the development of the international school at Innopolis University on behalf of Rustam Minnikhanov, Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan.
