The parties signed an agreement covering joint research and high-technology projects, development of cooperation programs with industrial partners and collaboration in commercialization of research and technology development.   

The two entities have also agreed on joint organization of events and support of students of Innopolis University and higher education institutions of Ulyanovsk Region.

According to Zurab Otarashvili, Rector’s Advisor for Science and Research Affairs, Head of Grants Management Office: “Ulyanovsk Region is a major industrial region of Russia having a well-developed research and technical infrastructure. Collaboration with a real industry sector, universities and academic institutions located in this region will help to establish new ties with local researchers and engage them in our scientific and educational programs thus attracting more prospective students”.
