In the framework of the educational program, students of the Russian IT University visited one of the largest telecommunication companies in the world.

A global educational program «Huawei Seeds for the Future» gathers the brightest students from more than 100 Universities in 35 countries. This year in accordance with the agreement between Innopolis University and the telecommunication giant, seven best students of the Russian IT University received the vouchers to study at the Huawei headquarters in Shenzhen.

During the 2-week intensive educational program, students had IT courses and basic Chinese classes. The students also had a chance to familiarize themselves with the great Chinese culture. They traveled to The Great Wall of China and Beijing, the unique «crossroad» of history and modern technologies. After the cultural trip, the students went to the Huawei headquarters in Shenzhen, where they studied the structure of GSM, 3G and LTE-A systems. Within the program they also acquainted with activities of the company, its latest research as well as experience in the domain of IT and Hi-tech.

“It was a truly unique opportunity to learn about the ancient Chinese culture and at the same time to study at the Huawei HQ. We were able to have a look inside one of the biggest telecommunication companies in the world. What is more, we had an amazing chance to meet students from Singapore and Ghana. This program helps us to broaden horizons, set new aims and become real cosmopolitans,”- said Michael Usvyatsov, student of Innopolis University.
