Middle QA-Engineer educational program in the format of advanced training, started at the Russian IT University together with Ak Bars Bank Innovation Lab - Ak Bars Digital Technologies, is aimed at QA-Engineers with career history of 1.5 years.

288 people from Kazan, Cheboksary, Kostroma, Tyumen, Moscow, Naberezhnye Chelny, Tomsk, Innopolis, Saratov, Ekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, Perm, Vladivostok, Barnaul, Tver, Samara, St. Petersburg, Chelyabinsk, Ufa, Nizhny Novgorod, Tolyatti, Tula applied for 4-weeks full-time training course on software testing management, with expert speakers from the companies Dooglys and Diginavis. There were 10 course participants, who successfully passed the selection, where their knowledge and skills have been tested.

"We've set ourselves an ambitious goal — to pump up students from junior to middle level over the course of a month. And we've coped with it. All students have successfully developed their hard skills and, most importantly, received attractive job offers or promotion", — says the Vice-Rector for University Development Aliya Samatova.

“Today it is impossible to make a fine product without serious testing,” says Alexander Iossa, the Robostroy product manager at the company Diginavis. “Software testing and the testers themselves are the key to the entire product development process. The QA-Engineer has to be adaptable, he must know all the latest techniques, modern technologies, use up-to-date metrics and approaches. The course is designed specifically to solve such issues: to create a profound fundamental base and set of practical tools".

According to Aliya Samatova, in 2019 the Innopolis University will continue training of QA-Engineers. The program turned out to be in demand both for employers who are interested in skills improving of their employees, and for the newcomers who have just embarked on a new interesting profession.

Middle QA-Engineer — 144-hours course (72 hours of classroom work and 72 hours of self-study), consisting of four full-time modules. The in-depth training program covers all stages of software testing: tests planning, creating design concept, development, tests performance, writing test documentation and creating reports. Testing of applications for Android and iOS is considered separately. The course provides lots of workshops, cases and consultations. QA-Engineer graduates get certificates of career enhancement.
