Vice-Rector for Business Development of Innopolis University took part in the round table discussion at the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum

Participants of the round table discussed the changes in structure and content that are necessary for the Russian education system.

The final day of the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum offered foreign and Russian experts in different areas a large number of topics to discuss. The panel discussion “Universities. How to become leaders today?” became one of the key events of the day. The meeting was attended by  Sofia Chernogortseva, Vice-Rector for Business Development of Innopolis University,  Shlomo Weber, Acting Rector of the Russian Economic School, Eduard Galazhinsky, Rector ofTomsk State University,  Isak Froumin, Academic Supervisor at the Institute of Education, National Research University Higher School of Economics and many others. The discussion was moderated by  Аlexei Sitnikov, Vice-President of Institutional Development at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology. 
The ever-changing world sets new requirements to the modern system of higher education. Participants of the round table discussion spoke about the necessity of a complex structural and conceptual redesign of domestic higher school and considered a number of measures based on global trends that will trigger effective changes and modernization of universities in the near future. Besides, the experts touched upon the issues of current operating form of Russian private universities and  integration of technologies capable of making domestic higher education competitive on the global market.
"High school shall deliver social values and knowledge to the young generation and serve as a driver for employers and the government inspiring them to move towards competitiveness and keeping the balance between the creation of new expertise and production of front-end knowledge", - noticed Vice-Rector for Business Development, Sofia Chernogortseva.
