Innopolis University announced winners of the Russian Olympiad on Informatics and ICT for Schoolchildren

The competition among the best young Russian programmers organised by Innopolis University has recently finished. Starting from March 27, participants from 50 Russian regions had been competing for victory in the Russian Olympiad on Informatics and ICT. According to results of the first and the second check-up round, the jury decided on 115 winners and awardees.

Egor Lifar from Moscow was the best among students of the 9th form. Seven participants from Chelyabinsk Region and Saint Petersburg won in the category for students of the 10th form. 12 young people from Moscow and the Moscow Region, the Udmurt Republic, Saint Petersburg, Chelyabinsk Region, Nizhny Novgorod and Ivanovo Region became winners in the senior age group that included students of the 11th form.

In total, 95 participants of the Olympiad received prizes, in particular, 14 students of the 9th form, 34 students of the 10th form, and 47 students of the 11th form. Prize-holders came from Moscow and the Moscow Region, Sverdlovsk Region, Saint Petersburg, Republic of Tatarstan, Belgorod Region, Nizhny Novgorod, Chelyabinsk Region, Ivanovo Region, Republic of Bashkortostan, Krasnoyarsk Region, Omsk Region Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Region, the Udmurt Republic, Republic of Adygea, Orenburg Region and Stavropol Region.

The full list of winners and awardees is available on the official web-site of the Olympiad. They all gained the right to be enrolled at any Russian university in the relevant field of studies that corresponds to the Olympiad profile without any admission tests. Besides, winners and prize-holders became candidates to the Russian national team that will represent our country at the XXIХ International Olympiad on Informatics (ІОІ–2017) that will be held on July 26 - August 4 in Teheran.
