Bachelor Opening Day
On August 15, 2014 the first bachelor students visited the construction site of the most ambitious IT-city building project. Innopolis is a federal project that includes a special economic zone, a technopark, residential and social infrastructure and Innopolis University itself.

Selection Weekend of the Graduate Program
From 9 to 11 of August Innopolis University held a selection weekend for its graduate program “IT – software engineering management”. Some top IT companies – Fix group, Etton, KamAZ, IQ-300, ICL, Digital Loyalty System, RT-Inform participated in the selection.

In accordance with the decree of the Federal Education and Science Supervision Service dated 31 July 2014 No. 1210 Innopolis University was granted a license No.1068 for delivering programs of higher education in the areas of undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate programs.

Innopolis University Hosted Russian Stage of the World Robot Olympiad
The Russian stage of the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) was held at the Kazan Tennis Academy on June 20-22, 2014. The opening ceremony was marked by participation of Nikolay Nikiforov, Minister of Telecom and Mass Communication of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Livanov, Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Klaus Ditlev Christensen, WRO Secretary General.
