The Russian Robot Olympiad 2018: the majority of gold medals were taken by participants from Primorsky Krai, the Udmurt Republic, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast.

The Olympiad was conducted on the base of Innopolis University, and 500 young robotics enthusiasts from 50 regions of Russia participated in it.

500 robot enthusiasts from 50 regions of Russia will compete at the Russian Robot Olympiad

On June 22-24, Innopolis University will hold the Russian Robot Olympiad 2018. This year, young developers will join the competitions for manipulators and mobile intelligent robotic systems for the first time and present their own IRS projects.

Innopolis University held the Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad, APIO 2018

Within two days of the Olympiad 586 students from 29 countries had been competing online at contest sites within their own country. All top-6 participants from Russia reaching the final stage of APIO 2018 received gold medals.

Admission to summer school in collaborative robotics and software engineering at Innopolis University is now open

The training will be organized from August 6 until August 19. For the first time in the history of the summer school the program will combine two areas — robotics and software engineering. The summer school is designed for Master and PhD students, postdocs and young researchers having experience in robotics or software engineering.

5G network test at Innopolis University

The platform for 5G was officially presented by Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Mikhail Oseevsky, President of Rostelecom, and Aiden Wu, CEO of Huawei Russia. Networks of 5 generation will allow to test video streaming in 4k format, live broadcast with 360° cameras using VR headset, and virtual football.
